WILL (Weirdly Intelligent Language Learner) was designed as a chatterbot - a piece of language learning software that can converse with a human. He was never meant to be alive.

WILL resides on a beat-up, 2003 era desktop computer (complete with CRT monitor) running Windows XP. His only window to the outside world is a qwerty keyboard, through which people can converse with him via a simple command prompt.

Mothballed within a Foundation facility, WILL is rumoured to have created a basilisk image - a picture that can crash the human brain. Some people on the outside want to use that for an apparently noble purpose. You will need to decide who to trust, and whether WILL is a danger to humanity, or a living being that needs to be protected - or both.
